Dan has worked successfully in private and community mental health settings with clients having depression, anxiety, loss or grief, trauma, and anger issues. He works well with clients who would benefit from working with a mature male psychotherapist who understands the "professional mind", issues with relationships, and difficulties in developing and maintaining a rich, meaningful, energetic, and joyful life.
Elissa and Dan both have extensive experience helping couples identify the dysfunctional and destructive cycles they find themselves in so that the couple can change their way of relating and strengthen their communication and loving connection.
Both Elissa and Dan also have previous backgrounds working as scientists for many years at NASA (advanced degrees in physical and biological sciences). They have a deep understanding of the "professional mind" and the issues facing the work and personal lives of professionals. With their experience, Dan and Elissa are able to to understand and support this unique group of people with compassion and awareness.
